Since 2001, Greensboro College has benefited from the ongoing generosity of Richard and Jane Levy to develop an extensive collection of scholarly monographs, personal memoirs and reference books detailing the history of the Holocaust.

The Levys have provided new books, established an endowment and funded the renovation of a collection room on the 3rd floor of the Jones Library. The Levy-Loewenstein Holocaust Collection at Greensboro College is dedicated to the memory of their parents — Frances and Edward Lowenstein and Bertram and Barbara Levy — and by 2007 will number more than 1,000 essential texts on the history of the Holocaust, making this collection the most substantial one of its kind in the region.

For more information about the Collection, contact Greensboro College Professor of History Richard F. Crane at 272-7102, Ext. 305, or craner@gborocollege.edu.
